I took president or accepted president designation for year 2022-23 in a very casual meeting without taking consent of first lady. But true to her inbuilt charater first lady supported me unconditionally in every possible way to make this Rotary year memorable for every member of the club.
Ours being second year of the club we were struggling with conditioning of new members and existing Rotarians. Be it confirming anniversary gifts or birthday gifts or fellowship menu with program committee chairman. Her decision was final verdict as usual. Everyone enjoyed and appreciated it.
As a president my aim was to involve and increase engagement of every member in club activities. I never emphasized on conducting projects. But at the same time encouraged and supported every director and chairman to execute proposed possible activity and project. We enjoyed festival celebration like holy shraavan month, charter day celebration.
As per Rotary theme all of us were committed to imagine Rotary in all important avenue and feel the difference that Rotary makes while doing good for society. We executed some specific projects like donating e learning kit, babywarmer., self defense work shop, dental checkup and physiotherapy camp for interact students. We enjoyed district fellowship. We shared our diwali happy mood with underprivileged pupils of people doing street play for there day to day earning. We are committed to help these students in every possible way to continue there schooling. Kolte madam is successfully running this school from last more than one year.
This year we successfuly inducted 6 new members and arranged orientation programme by Trainer Rotarian Shivajirao.
We still have four months in hand of current Rotary year. And very exciting programmes are arranged to engage members.
